Okay, then: what's the recommended way of upgrading X after an upgrade from 2.2-STABLE to 3.x-STABLE? I've upgraded X with binaries several times before, but I can't seem to find the new ones at the moment. Upgrading from the ports system should be easy, but that would involve getting and compiling *all* of the servers, which seems kind of inefficient. Also, what about registering the port for the new version of X? Last time around, I just faked up a /var/db/pkg entry for XFree86-3.3.2. Should I ignore it and leave it in place? Try to pkg_delete it? Just FORCE_PKG_REGISTER? Be well. Lowell Gilbert To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
