I've then downloaded 2.2-970914-RELENG thinking it would have a newer (better ?) set of drivers for the aic7xxx stuff. I extracted just the aic* files and directories, made a few mods to files.i386 and built a new kernel with them, ie. primarily a 2.2.2-RELEASE kernel with the aic stuff from 2.2-970914-RELENG. The results are below, there seem to be less errors and no SCSI Bus reset this time. Would I now be correct in concluding that its probably not the aic7xxx driver (et al.) but a more likely a SCSI termination problem ?
