If you want to debug the problem further, recompile Evo with the following command: env CFLAGS=3D"-O -g -pipe" make STRIP=3D install Then get Evo to produce a core dump when you try to add a calendar appointment. Then, run: gdb /usr/X11R6/bin/evolution evolution.core At the (gdb) prompt, type bt.
