Change it back?  
Seriously, my initial response would be to suggest that after you changed
the IRQ address on your card that you didn't tell the kernel about the new
IRQ.

Check your kernel config file, make sure that it knows where to look for
the card.  If that's the problem, then edit the config accordingly and
recompile/reinstall the kernel.  Everything should work fine.
