Lets see.... so, if you mounted your CD-ROM on: /pub/FreeBSD/2.2.1-RELEASE/ , and just set the site to download frmo to the IP address of your AIX machine (AIX ; I'm admin of one of them beasts), without any pathname after it, then... That should/might work. I'd try the NFS install, but that might require another FreeBSD machine on the other end.
