One other thing I've often wished for is someone(tm) to develop some more code around USE_TCL= <ver> and USE_TK= <ver>, and then further modification, where possible, to allow end-users (at their own risk), to further develop patches to collapse the ever-growing number of tcl/tk base ports we have. I have to do bsd.gnutools.mk first, though :P -aDe
