OK, fixed! Solution consisted of deleting the relevant distfiles (the
ones with the wrong checksum), updating the ports tree, and make
clean;make -- repeating that around ten times over a period of a day or
so. My guess is that there was a bug somewhere that my regular updating
eventually overcame... :)
