The following reply was made to PR ports/24510; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Espen Skoglund <esk@ira.uka.de> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org Cc: rse@engelschall.com Subject: Re: ports/24510: XMMS 1.2.4 refuses to compile on my 4.2-stable system Date: Wed, 31 Jan 2001 14:42:47 +0100 (CET) This problem has been resolved (should also fix ports/24510). There were some conflicts with an already installed devel/pth in the users system causing the wrong pthread.h to be included. This is really gross. Would it be possible for the devel/pth and devel/pth-devel ports to use a different location of their pthread.h (like the glib12 and gtk12 ports do). In addition, the libpthread files should probably be renamed to something else. This shouldn't really prove to be any problems for the user since both ports have their own pthread-config sccripts that takes care of producing the correct command line args. eSk To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
