Modifying libtool to be more verbose as in http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/ 2004/03/12/0027.html gave the error : libtool: link: cannot find the library `' (libgmodule-2.0.la: ../ glib/.libs/libglib-2.0.so) So I tried to re-install the devel/glib20 port, and that fixed the problem.
