After phoning the = Australian distributors of EVERY known breed of PCMCIA modem I couldn't = find one that WASN'T a winmodem. We don't get every product here so its possible that "proper" PCMCIA = modems are available elsewhere in the world. Similarly with GSM ones ..... all the ones known in this part of the = world are software type (winmodems) except for the industrial models = made by Siemens / Ericsson / Falcom.
