I have been looking at graphics tool kits to use to write a program. I have considered tcl/tk, lesstif, qt. (The basic X tool kit is too bland.) Any toolkit I use must be freely available. It must not encumber any software I create using the tool kit. I would like my program to be highly portable and freely distributable. I need a bit of help in understanding the issues at stake as I venture into GUI programming for the first time. Are there any worthy tool kits that I have not looked at? Which tool kit do you like the best and why? Thank you, | Try some of this. It will show you where you're at.
