After all, 2.2.8 has been described for months now as the "end of the 2.2 tree". Changing something in 2.2-S would be rather on the rude side. Bugfixes, yes. Errata, sure. Extra distfiles, absolutely. (You need *something* to make this set worth puchasing, after all.) But additional or changed functionality should go into -stable or -current. Even something as cosmetic as three beeps on the install floppy.
