Eric, You can check out something I wrote about a year ago about 5.0-DP2: http://www.non-standard.net/freebsd/sparc64-nfsroot/sparc64-nfsroot.html If you get the disc2 cd of 5.2 and use the loader from http://non-standard.net/freebsd/sparc64-nfsroot/ you will probably get it to work.
