From: David Greenman Reply-To: davidg@Root.COM Date: Fri, 15 Mar 1996 11:29:29 -0800 Sender: owner-hackers@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk If you're a Sprint customer, you may have noticed that there is no connectivity to freefall and wcarchive at the moment. This is because Sprint only peers with CRL (our NSP) at the CIX and Sprint's T1 to the CIX is down at the moment. Anyway, this message is to ask all you Sprint customers to call up and complain that 1) Sprint's connection to the CIX is down, and 2) Sprint's refusal to peer with CRL at any other peering location (such as PacBell-NAP, MAE-west, etc) is stupid and is a mistake. Sprint could be peering with CRL at DS3 speeds (again, at MAE-west, PB-NAP, etc), but isn't. Ask them to change this! Thanks. -DG David Greenman Core-team/Principal Architect, The FreeBSD Project
