Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Date: Tue, 03 Nov 1998 13:16:39 -0800 From: Mike Smith Sender: owner-freebsd-current@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I've just committed a change which alters the way that scripts are passed to userconfig. Previously, you would specify USERCONFIG_BOOT in your kernel configuration, and the bootstrap would load /kernename.config and pass it to the kernel. Now, to load a userconfig script you must be using the new 3-stage bootloader. To load a script, either execute this command manually, or insert it in /boot/boot.conf: 'load -t userconfig_script ' The USERCONFIG_BOOT option is no longer used (or required). -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
