Are there any FDDI NICs (preferrably, the DEC stuff) working over PCI supported in FreeBSD? The page http://ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/adapters/html/products/fp.htm says: The DEC FDDIcontroller/PCI family provides FDDI connectivity for any PCI-compliant PC, workstation, system, server, or peripheral. This new PCI-compliant controller, combined with the breadth of operating system drivers from Digital allows the DEC FDDIcontroller/PCI to be used on both Digital and non Digital platforms. Supported Operating Systems Apple Mac OS, Digital OpenVMS, Digital PATHWORKS, Digital UNIX, *FreeBSD UNIX* (emphasis mine --S), Linux UNIX, Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows NT, Novell NetWare Client, Novell NetWare Server, Novell NetWare SFT III Mirrored Server Link, QNX, SCO UNIX/Open Server, SCO UnixWare 2.1. However, reading the release notes and LINT kernel config file I find no references to these devices (the EISA fea device is there, but I'm looking for PCI stuff). The FTP download area at DEC's server does not seem to have anything relevant, either. Anyone with a clue?
