Apologies if this has been asked before. I've installed 4.8 on a Compaq Proliant 1850 6-550 and built a kernel with MP support. The system boots the MP kernel OK, but mptable reports "Extended Table HOSED!" I don't see anything unusual in dmesg, but I may be missing something. Output of dmesg and mptable below. Thanks very much for any ideas on how to fix this. Regards, David Newman dnewman@moser ~ 81$ dmesg Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
