I'm afraid the point was sort of missed here. What I meant by "more
communication"  is that whoever committed the buggy code should not maintain
radio silence here. We do not exactly need an erratum to tell us it was broken,
we already know that. 

What we do *not* know is whether those regressions are fixed - and worse yet,
we do not know what are we supposed to test. "Letting it sit for a hot minute"
won't get any testing done.
