But its only for the users who have a accound the machine. If you wan't a anon ftp server then you can set this up though /stand/sysinstall. If you don't wan't to have anon uploads do a chmod of the incomming direcotry so that the world may not write. Special config files can be set up for this group of users, but you have to look in to man ftpd for this.
