I try to boot from my floppy A drive, but it takes a long time (about 4 minutes) before it REALLY start boot from the A drive. and then fdisk takes a long while to load into the memory for the first time. Even thought I have run and partitioned my 30G IBM into the C: drive, when I reboot my pc, it also repeat the problem, and the partition and C: drive disapear. Consequently, I can't get my Hard drive partition. I could hear the initial reading A drive when it try to boot from it, but after reading for a while, it goes silent for about 4 minutes before it really start booting. The board is a EPOX motherboard (DP-BX7+), and there is IBM 30G HD , a pc133 128M RAM, a pc100 128 RAM, I WILL scsi card, a LAN card, Nvida TNT2 graphic card on board. During boot, it recognised my IBM HD as a 30G hard drive. I set the boot sequence as A,C, SCSI. So it is trying to boot from my A floppy drive first, because I want to re-partition my IBM 30G HD. The floppy disk is a bootable DOS disk which is formatted from another Window 98 operating system. Your helps is greatly apprecated. Sam.
