Unless you and the person in question is in very friendly terms and you two understand exactly where you are coming from, this will cause trouble more often than not since the criticized person will react on emotion, not logic. The ports team has gotten much bigger over the years and unlike the beginning when we had something like 15 people who have all exchanged literally hundreds of e-mails with each other, we are dealing with a whole lot more people, some of which might not like you. :) Friendly reminders yes, anything that could be construed as personal attacks, no.
