I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of my Libretto 110CT, and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to go about installing FreeBSD on it. It seems from LINT that the Libretto has some special kind of floppy drive that requires certain kernel config options to use. Also, I intend to do a network install using a LinkSys PCMCIA ethernet card, so I'll need some way of getting the pccard stuff onto the machine prior to installing the full system. It would seem to me that this could be done using customized boot/fixit floppies, NFS, and some patience, but I'm quite clueless as to how to go about this. Or should I use a PAO installation floppy, and then cross my fingers and attempt to upgrade to 3-STABLE? -- Brian Buchanan brian@CSUA.Berkeley.EDU -------------------------------------------------------------------------- FreeBSD - The Power to Serve! http://www.freebsd.org daemon(n): 1. an attendant power or spirit : GENIUS 2. the cute little mascot of the FreeBSD operating system To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
