I'm wondering why PORTNAME=3D vavoom PKGNAMESUFFIX=3D -extras is used in the Makefile. According to bsd.port.mk PKGNAMESUFFIX is a "Suffix to specify compilatio= n options." while here it's simply used to "rebuild" the "original" port = name. IMHO a correct example of the way it should be used is in net/cvsup, wher= e the suffix is appended if WITHOUT_X11 is specified. So I think PORTNAME should be changed to vavoom-extras and PKGNAMESUFFIX = should be removed. The same could apply to games/uhexen2-extras and emulators/mame-extras (n= ote that they were all originally commited from the same committer, so it= could be a misunderstanding from him) and to x11-toolkits/py-gnome-extra= s. Thanks Barbara
