Wether it is allright or should be fixed -- >I do not know. There is no problem for supported compilers (gcc-2.6.3 and gcc-2.7.2). There may be a problem with the Pentium-optimized version of gcc. I think it is based on gcc-2.4.5 or an older version that didn't do long multiplications inline. Bruce
