I have a few questions regarding multiport network interfaces. Does, let's say a 4 port nic occupy 4 irqs as in four seperate cards or does the multiport card share one irq? Second which type of card is most suitable for FreeBSD running as a firewalling router? Comments and suggestions most welcome!
