I just went through this with my wife's Christmas present Canon camera. M= y=20 solution was to get a SanDisk ImageMate Reader and connect it via USB. We= =20 remove the CF cards and read mount them like any removable device. One thing - the CF card has to be formatted with a filesystem before you = can=20 read it. With my wife's Canon, this can be done with the camera.
