After I plugged in a 802.llg dlink 510 wireless nic ( yet to be configured - planning ndis wrappers) in the 1st pci slot next to agp, I noticed the following nve0f0: Ethernet address: 00:05:04:03:02:01 nve0f1: Ethernet address: 00:05:04:03:02:01 nve0f2: Ethernet address: 00:05:04:03:02:01 nve0f3: Ethernet address: 00:05:04:03:02:01 Never saw it before that. 00:05:04:03:02:01 is the MAC address I configured thru bios. Why do I see 4 nics? Whats f0,f1,f2.f3? Freebsd 7.0-current. -- Rgrds GobbledeGeek [Everything but Gobbledegook.. !!]
