Yes that seems ok.

And does it still not work?
Could you try a testmail to a webmail-account or some external
mailaccount or mirror@xlink.net ?
	mail -v -s test mirror@xlink.net </dev/null

Does the message not arrive at the destination or can't you just
reply to that messsage?

Do you expect to receive mail at your location or do you intend to
pop from some external pop server?
If you intend to pop from an external server you may need to adjust
your sender address (my_hdr From: in muttrc).
