Did anyone else read about the OSU Open Source Lab
Benchmark Challenge (http://osuosl.org/benchmarks/bc/)
at Slashdot today?

It appears to be a good-faith attempt to compare the
performance of various open source operating systems.

This could be a chance for the world to see FreeBSD
shine.  Does anyone plan to help "tweak" the FreeBSD
install, as allowed by the contest?

I'm interested in this as a FreeBSD user and advocate,
but admit not being sufficiently advanced to make
performance recommendations.
