	I would double check the Termination on everything. If something 
is auto-terminated in the wrong place it could cause this problem. You 
may also want to look at a different SCSI card. Anything with a 20 in it 
from Adaptec is meant to run CDROMs and scanners, not harddrives. Granted 
there are people running them without problems... but...
