Completely fresh install Cut from my dmesg : atapci0: port 0xffa0-0xffaf at device 7.1 on pci0 ata0: at 0x1f0 irq 14 on atapci0 . . . ad0: 6204MB [13446/15/63] at ata0-master using WDMA2 . . . ad0: WRITE command timeout - resetting ata0: resetting devices .. done (message repeated 57 times) >Description: Syslog is constantly reporting /kernel: ata0: resetting devices .. done and ad0:WRITE command timeout - resetting. The problem has been occuring since the time of installation and even during installation, and I've never encountered anything like this in previous releases. >How-To-Repeat: I've installed this on three systems with similar environments and had the same thing happen.
