At the very least, this is too slow to play Quake2 :-], but I would assume it's also not worth the effort when comparing it to pure software Mesa-3.0 on a fast machine. Then the only thing you would gain is that glide (non-OpenGL) clients may be windowed, but I don't think it is worth the effort.
