a) Boot from CDROM
b) Bootloader starts
c) Bootlader can't find CDROM to load kernel
d) lsdev only reports  floppy disk and hard disk, no cdrom visible

a) get a thinkpad 770X or 380ED
b) switch thinkpad to boot from cdrom
c) insert a 3.2 freebsd boot cdrom (disk1)
d) reboot the machine
e) voila
