Would it be acceptable for the p5- ports (and Mail::SpamAssassin :-) to invoke 
CPAN/BSDPAN as appropriate and generate a pkg-plist from the install results?

After all, Perl already tests new modules before installing them using that 
mechanism, which appears to be more likely to catch any problems than what is 
currently being done with some of the Perl ports...
