Revieving all vesa-related bugs, I'd suggest to close this bug due to lack =
of
importance.

The 1995 low end vintage SiS 86C326 graphics card/chip is rare to find
nowadays.

If anybody actually wants to use that card, she can work around by building=
 a
kernel without "options VESA" and explicitly use sc as console in text mode.
