>Description:

FreeType glyph hinting in FreeType 2.1.7 has a bug and this can distort
some glyphs fatally.

>How-To-Repeat:

1) Install print/freetype2 port. (Neither WITHOUT_TTF_BYTECODE_ENABLED option
nor WITH_CJK option have relation to this bug).
2) Install print/ft2demos port.
3) Install japanese/acroread5-jpnfont port.
4) Invoke glyph viewer with a command line
   'ftview -f 3881 250 /usr/local/Acrobat5/Resource/Font/KozMinPro-Regular-Acro.otf'.
5) Make sure that forced autohinting is disabled by hitting 'f' key once or twice.
6) Make sure that glyph hinting is active by hitting 'h' key once or twice.

You will see a scrambled glyph (Unicode: U+4E0E) if glyph hinting is enabled.

>Fix:

This bug is already fixed in current stable release of FreeType (2.1.9).
