Yes.  Just write the temp file back and the settings will be stored in the
drive's EEPROM.

Maybe, let me fetch mine again (I have a Seagate btw):

Data Strobe Offset Count:  0 
Write Retry Count:  13
Recovery Time Limit:  65535

I would be cautious in fidding with these settings.
