I read a complaint somewhere about MacOS X, that this cycles through all the windows in a circular manner, ie in order of creation of the windows, which is a pain if you've got more than 3 or 4 windows open and you're actively using only 2 of them (so you want alt-tab to go to the second window, but another alt-tab to return to the first; if you have 10 open windows you don't want to cycle through all 10 to get back to the first.) I don't know whether this is true. KDE, Sawfish and (I believe) Windows do the sensible thing: they reorder the windows according to last usage, so you move through a "stack" with recently-focussed windows on top, and not through a closed chain of fixed order. - Rahul To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
