Hi,
I'm trying to mirror the 4.6.2 ISO Images, but I can't get it
correct, and my mirror script never failed before. I tried from
ftp.freebsd.org and from ftp2.freebsd.org. The last time, from
ftp.freebsd.org, I got this:
-r--r--r-- 1 ftpadmin ftpadmin 657457152 Aug 15 16:32 4.6.2-disc1.iso
-r--r--r-- 1 ftpadmin ftpadmin 234094592 Aug 15 03:24 4.6.2-disc2.iso
With the local checksums:
MD5 (4.6.2-disc1.iso) = 8bee6b6260278448bb346f588a931b1f
MD5 (4.6.2-disc2.iso) = bade804f9564165e57647511362a5c96
But the CHECKSUM.md5 file that comes with it says:
MD5 (4.6.2-disc1.iso) = 5221307617799a5659ae4ec0b2aca17b
MD5 (4.6.2-disc2.iso) = bade804f9564165e57647511362a5c96
A quick try with vnode mounting the iso image shows no read error,
including correct checksum from bin and src dists.
Is there a problem with the distributed CHECKSUM file?
Except for this, I would say we're mirror ready at
ftp.br.freebsd.org.
