I've just discovered a (probably small) bug in envy24.c When booting verbose, the kernel panics with "Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode" If I comment out the two vtophys() calls in envy24.c, the panic no longer occurs. Let me know, if you need more info. My soundcard is a M-Audio Audiophile 2496. I'm using the drivers from current on a 6.2-RC1 machine (but I dont' think that's related to the panic).
