I found that I had to rename many of the lib files to lower-case
before the installation would see them.  You'll probably see
that you have a LIBVOS506LI.SO instead of a libvos506li.so file.

Also, from that filename it sounds like you're installing StarOffice
5.01.  Be aware that there's a recent (last week or so) 5.1 release
that you may prefer to install.
