Sorry! On the 2.1.0 CD, there is a dot.rhost file in the /usr/share/skel directory, with two lines: OtherMachine OtherMachine myFriend Without a comment. I think, it's not so good. All of our users got it, and the local nameserver has so long timeout- this was the reason of my X-To-FreeBSD slow rlogin problem. But nobody told me anything about my second problem: why is it so long to mountd (with the -n option) in the /etc/rc? It sleeps about a minute. In my /etc/exports, there is only one line: /usr/src -network 192.168.141 -mask 255.255.255.128 (I tried it with and without the netmask) -- Gabor Zahemszky -:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:- Earth is the cradle of human sense, but you can't stay in the cradle forever.
