Question.

I have installed vmware2-2.0.4.1142 on FreeBSD 4.4-PRERELEASE and placed
a valid license key in ${HOME}/.vmware/license2.0. Yet, everytime it
runs it says that the license key in invalid. Do you know of any
"gotchas" regarding the licensing.

Prior to my accidentally wiping out my system, I had FreeBSD 4.3-stable
and vmware ran beautifully! I had linux on it and was planning on
putting w2k.

P.S. The only reason I'm on FreeBSD 4.4-PRERELEASE is because that's
what I received when I updated my cvs repository and checked out src
using:

cvs checkout -rRELENG_4 src
