I'm aware of the solution. Others might not, that's why I proposed to expand the default selection of = the port x11-drivers/xorg-drivers by EVDEV. Why? Users are invited to deselect option DEVD in port x11-servers/xorg-server. If they do so (because they heard about evdev and intentionally want to avo= id libinput/devd utilazation), they end up with an locally unusable Xorg setup. Do you think extending the default OPTIONS definition of x11-drivers/xorg-drivers is not needed?
