Very. :-)

An initial overview is provided in the FreeBSD documentation:

https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/explaining-bsd/comparing-bsd-and-linux.html

Note that the BSDs (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, etc.) differ
just as the many Linux distributions do differ, except those
share (almost) the same kernel.

For further details, try a Google search with keywords
such as "BSD Linux differences". This will result in many
articles explaining this topic.

Such resources could include, but are not limited to, the
following articles:

https://www.howtogeek.com/190773/htg-explains-whats-the-difference-between-linux-and-bsd/

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/a-comparative-introduction-to-freebsd-for-linux-users

However, "different" can have different meanings. Is it
about system architecture? About licensing? About tools
included? About operations in general? About hardware
compatibility? With specific search keywords added, you
can easily find the answers to which differences actually
matter _to you_.
