I also have another box with yet another IBM ATA 100 with a pioneer 16x = DVD slaved and a ultra160 card with 10k drive-s and yamaha scsi = 16x10x40,teac 32x scsi and asus GTS3, tv tuner and soundblaster live. =20 Both are on MSI KT266 boards. I have not had any ATA issues. If I replace the cable on the first box to a 40 pin...my ftp speeds drop = from 11mb per sec to under 5 on my local net.(hmm cant write fast = enough?) This leads me to believe it is functioning truely at 100 speeds. That = and the simple fact it is faster than any os I have loaded on either = box. Thanks to all the developers and those who help !! Just adding my findings,

I have a kenwood 72x CD slaved to a IBM = 7200 ATA100=20 with no issues on one box.
I also have another box with yet = another IBM ATA=20 100 with a pioneer 16x DVD slaved and a ultra160 card with 10k drive-s = and=20 yamaha scsi 16x10x40,teac 32x scsi
and asus GTS3, tv tuner and = soundblaster=20 live.

Both are on MSI KT266 boards. I have = not had any=20 ATA issues.
If I replace the cable on the = first box to a=20 40 pin...my ftp speeds drop from 11mb per sec to under 5 on my local = net.(hmm=20 cant write fast enough?)
This leads me to believe it is = functioning truely=20 at 100 speeds. That and the simple fact it is faster than any os I have = loaded=20 on either box.

Thanks to all the developers and those = who help=20 !!
FreeBSD is getting better every = day.
