No, because me time is worth more than my money. I *could* do it, but I
know absolutely squat about kernel code.

That would be more than I am willing to donate. I would be cheaper for
me to simply buy a new board and throw the old one away.

I fully understand that. I hope my post didn't come off as whiny,
because I certainly didn't mean for it to. I am only trying to find a
passage out of this maze, and was hoping someone knew where the secret
door was.
