Micropolis is bankrupt, and was not bought up by anyone, and has vanished
from the face of the planet, as far as I can tell.

I own two Micropolis drives, one died within the first 100 hours of operation,
the other still works.

Avoid them unless you are able to get them for 1/4 the price of a drive
from a manufacturer that is still in business.

IOmega is on the verge of bankruptcy, too.
