However, it is a problem for ports (such as sort of suite software) which should be installed into a single directory like ${PREFIX}/somewhere. Currently, such ports redefine CONFIGURE_ARGS after including bsd.port.mk (net-mgmt/bigsister) or use HAS_CONFIGURE and CONFIGURE_ARGS (cad/alliance) manually. I suggest adding GNU_CONFIGURE_PREFIX_SUBDIR (or the like. This name is too long) and making CONFIGURE_ARGS respect it. >How-To-Repeat: N/A >Fix: Index: bsd.port.mk =================================================================== RCS file: /home/ncvs/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk,v retrieving revision 1.489 diff -d -u -I\$FreeBSD:.*\$ -I\$NetBSD:.*\$ -I\$OpenBSD:.*\$ -I\$DragonFly:.*\$ -I\$Id:.*\$ -I\$hrs:.*\$ -r1.489 bsd.port.mk --- bsd.port.mk 27 May 2004 11:29:06 -0000 1.489 +++ bsd.port.mk 1 Jun 2004 04:03:16 -0000 @@ -665,6 +665,9 @@ # configure stage will not do anything if this is not set. # GNU_CONFIGURE - Set if you are using GNU configure (optional).
