Are you getting any errors in your logs? I will post my problems soon. It will be a long post with a copy to the newsgroup, where I saw a problem similar to mine yesterday. I want to include the config setup, the probes, and log entries. I am waiting for something to happen again to see if the problem occurs during a certain operation like newgroups or expire rms. It could be something that innd tickles in the OS or innd itself. I have gotten the following log messages during innd operations: May 4 23:32:22 seabass innd: news-out.isp.net:15 closed seconds 67 accepted 146 refused 0 rejected 0 May 4 23:41:17 seabass innd: news-out.isp.net connected 15 May 4 23:41:33 seabass /kernel: file: table is full May 4 23:41:33 seabass /kernel: file: table is full May 4 23:41:55 seabass /kernel: proc: table is full May 4 23:41:56 seabass /kernel: file: table is full May 4 23:41:56 seabass last message repeated 2 times May 4 23:41:56 seabass /kernel: proc: table is full May 4 23:41:57 seabass last message repeated 4 times May 4 23:41:58 seabass /kernel: file: table is full May 4 23:41:58 seabass /kernel: file: table is full May 4 23:41:59 seabass /kernel: proc: table is full May 4 23:42:00 seabass last message repeated 3 times May 4 23:42:00 seabass innd: ME cant fork /usr/local/news/bin/control/newgroup Resource temporarily unavailable May 4 23:42:00 seabass innd: ME cant spawn /usr/local/news/bin/control/newgroup for control/27887 Resource temporarily unavailable May 4 23:42:00 seabass /kernel: proc: table is full May 4 23:42:00 seabass last message repeated 2 times and: .....
